Article 1 – Definitions
- Guest: The individual who books and/or stays at the hostel.
- Hostel: Maison Miraj Hostel, located in Muscat.
- Agreement: The contract between the hostel and the guest regarding the stay.
Article 2 – Applicability
These terms apply to all bookings, stays, and services provided by Maison Miraj Hostel. • Deviations are only valid if agreed upon in writing.
Article 3 – Booking and Payment
- Bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of a confirmation from the hostel.
- Payment must be made prior to the stay unless otherwise agreed.
- The hostel reserves the right to cancel the booking if payment is not received on time.
Article 4 – Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations up to 7 days before arrival are free of charge.
- Cancellations within 7 days before arrival will incur a 50% charge of the total amount.
- No-shows will be charged the full amount.
Article 5 – Liability
- The hostel is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to guests’ belongings.
- Guests are responsible for any damage they cause to the hostel or third-party property. Article 6 – House Rules
- Guests must comply with the house rules as stated on the website and within the hostel.
- Serious violations may result in removal from the premises without refund.
Article 7 – Privacy
- Personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
- Data will not be shared with third parties without consent, unless legally required.
Article 8 – Governing Law and Disputes
- These terms are governed by the laws of Oman.
- Disputes will preferably be resolved amicably. If not, they will be submitted to the competent court in Muscat.
